The International Monarch Monitoring Blitz is an annual North American event dedicated to research aimed at protecting the monarch butterfly.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The goal? To <\/span>take<\/span> a snapshot of the <\/span>presence <\/span>of <\/span>milkweed <\/span>and <\/span>monarch <\/span>butterflies <\/span>in <\/span>your <\/span>area.<\/span> This year, <\/span><\/span>the Monarch Blitz is celebrating its 10th anniversary! From 31 July to 9 August 2026, thousands of volunteers across North America joined the celebration by searching for monarch butterflies and milkweed plants in their area.<\/p>\n Thank you to everyone who participated in\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Mission Monarch<\/span><\/span><\/a> and helped make the 10th anniversary of the Monarch Blitz unforgettable.
